Day 1 : Arrive in Tangier - Transfer to your accommodation.
This day of the 15 grand tour from Tangier our driver/guide will pick you up from Tangier Airport or Port depending on your flight time, and transfer you to the Hotel. Free time to discover Tangier city. Overnight stay.
Day 2 : Tangier - Tetuan - Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, The drive will take via the city of Tetouan to the City Of Chefchaouen named the Blue Perl of Morocco, going through Nexsus an old Roman site. Arriving to Chefchouen in the afternoon you will be amazed with its blue walls and beautiful doors. There you will join your place of stay and have lunch before going for a walk in the city it’s amazing river, Plaza Ultra Hammam where is many shops and restaurants. The tour in the medina will take us to small and tiny squares. Then you return to your place of stay to enjoy your dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Free day in Chefchaouen.
Today, you will have a Free day to discover the Highlights of Chefchaouen & its surroundings. Overnight stay in the blue pearl of Chefchaouen.
Day 4 : Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes.
After having you breakfast in the blue city, we depart to Fes , we will visit Volubilis. This later is an old Roman site which represents the very southern presence of the Roman Empire. Later we stop to have lunch at the city of Meknes created by Moulay Ismail one of the first kings of the old Monarchs of Morocco, after lunch time will visit many places to name but a few: Bab Mansour a big door on the old wall of the city which will take us directly to Moulay Ismail palace. Also we will visit the Herri Es-Souani an old horses stable and granaries with the large pool.
After we come to visit Meknes, we will continue our drive towards Fez, the old capital of Morocco known as the scientific capital of Morocco because of its old Karawiyin Madrassa or the oldest University in the world recognized; the city as a world heritage by UNSCO in 1981.
Day 5 : Fes Guided day Tour
Today you will explore the cultural capiltal of morocco the guide will take you to discover the best fes offers including the tanneries, Royal palace,Mellah,handmade potteries, Traditional Souks,Quaraouiyine University,Madrasa AL-Attarine
The following stop would be the Najjarine Museum of wooden arts and crafts, after lunch and have some rest , experience a panoramic view over the whole city of fes , Finally, we return to the comfort of your Riad, allowing you to relax and reflect on the enriching experiences of the day.
DAY 6 : FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
The voyage will continue after a tasty breakfast at the hotel in Fez Heading towards Merzouga known by its golden desert in the south east of Morocco. Through the route we will go drive by the city of Ifran; different from the other cities of the country Ifran has a European wonderful architecture surrounded by the Cedar forest; here we can stop to feed monkeys living in that forest and enjoy the fresh air. After that we will continue the route to Midelt city; located in the middle atlas; known for its apple production and the ancient mines of plumb. We will stop there for lunch time and continue the trip.
The next direction will be Erfoud an oasis town in eastern Morocco, crossing the Tizi Ntalghamt a passage through the mountain that will transport you to another landscape view with deserted mountains except next the river. Arriving to Arfoud the trip we will drive directly to Merzouga stop at an auberge and leave your luggage there and ride camels to the khaima “the tent” in the desert. You will be served dinner then listen the local music with drums and dance around a campfire.
DAY 7 : Visit Nomads - 4WD Adventure - Camel trek & Overnight stay in a desert camp.
We’ll go on a Merzouga Sahara desert expedition, We will explore the most interesting desert surroundings. Firstly, we will visit the Nomads. who are still live simple life under tents and live by raising camels, goats, and sheep. We will spend some time with them and discover their lifestyle. Then, we will leave for Mifiss’s mine of plumb. Further, on the 4WD Morocco Sahara tour, we will travel to Khamlia, a small village that is about 5 km from Merzouga. Here, you will discover another lifestyle of Gnaouas they kept their unique traditions. There are many other places that you will discover. For example, there is the panoramic view of Galb Nass, the 4WD cars Museum, and the desert Oases. Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
In the Afternoon, you will experience Merzouga camel rides across the Erg Chebbi Dunes to the Sahara desert camp. When you arrive, you can experience sandboarding while enjoying the sunset. Spend the night glamping in a Sahara desert camp with Berbers, they will serve you dinner, then play drums for you around the campfire. Enjoy watching the stars before going to your bed. Overnight stay in a private desert tent.
Day 8: Merzuga desert - Rissani - Tinjdad - Todra Valley & Gorges - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate.
The following day, on our 15-Days Itinerary in Morocco. You will wake up early to appreciate a breathtaking sunrise over Merzouga erg Chebbi. After breakfast & shower in the desert camp, we take you back to Merzouga Village, either back by camel trekking or 4WD (as you wish). Then. We will continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani and stop in Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marbles, where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils.
Continue to the Todra Gorges which is an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. Have lunch then drive through the town of Roses, Kelaa Mgouna. We continue through the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs passing the Skoura palm grove until we arrive in Ouarzazate known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” and check into the hotel/riad.
Day 9: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Imlil.
From Ouarzazate, where we will have a small visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt, and after 27 km of the road, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & cultures.
After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass” which will lead us to Imlil Berber village venturing through the magnificent Atlas Mountains offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Overnight stay in a guest house in the middle of Atlas Mountains.
Day 10: Imlil - Asni - Marrakech.
You will explore the Atlas. Especially Imlil is a small village in the foothills of the highest mountains in Morocco Toubkal mountain. Imlil is the center to hire mountain guides and mules due to its unique position and its connection to several Berber villages and a very popular start point of treks and hikes for climbing Toubkal mountain.
In Imlil, you will take mules for around 40 minutes towards the south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (1843m) set in the upper-level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, the main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions to get our lunch which will be served in a Berber house in the village of Aroumd. Afterward, you can take a short walk. On the road to Marrakech, we will visit Moulay Brahim Gorges and the Berber village of Asni are very popular for their weekly market every Saturday. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, Overnight stay in a Riad.
Day 11: Guided day Tour of Marrakech.
Following a delightful breakfast our day is dedicated to exploring the captivating highlights of Marrakesh, The tour allows you to visit many landmarks, such as Bahia Palace the historic royal necropolis Saadian Tombs dated to the time of the Saadian dynasty.
Koutoubia is the largest mosque. Jamaa El Fna, the central and marketplace square, The guide will invite you for an optional lunch in the Medina, and then you will walk the colorful souks of Marrakech. The sunset time you will have an over look from the terrace of a café to the Jamaa Elna square. The day will End with a special dinner served at the Hotel.
Day 12 :Cooking class in Marrakesh.
You will enjoy a traditional Moroccan cooking experience. This opportunity is delightful participation not only to learn to cook but an opportunity to discover the secrets of some of the best Moroccan cuisine recipes in a professional but also genuinely relaxed atmosphere.
Day 13: Marrakech - Essaouira.
The following morning after having you breakfast, the tour will take you to a day visit to the city of Essaouira and back for an overnight in Marrakech, The city you will be visiting is called the wind city and known for its wonderful seaside where many surfers came to practice their favorite sport. Along with the beach you can see many merchants selling different types of fish. There you can enjoy your lunch time. After that we will go for a walk to discover the ancient walls of the medina and take pictures. Overnight stay in a Riad in Essaouira medina.
Day 14: Essaouira - Casablanca - Rabat.
We will Travel to Rabat, following the coastal road trip of Morocco. Our first stop will be at Casablanca. We will have time to discover Hassan II Mosque And the highlights of Casablanca. Then, we will continue our trip to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, take a city tour of Rabat. View the Royal Palace and the ancient ruins of Chellah, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Hassan Tower. Overnight stay in Rabat.
Day 15: Rabat - Assilah - Tangier.
We will start our last day on the tour to Asilah, known as the artists’ refuge. Where we will have free time to discover this jewel. We will have many stops to see Hercules‘ Cave and Spartel Cap where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean on the road to Tangier. After this drive, you will have time to rest in your hotel in Tangier city. Where our 15 days in Morocco tour ends.
