On the first day of 8 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga our team will receive you at the airport. The team will help you to check the place of your stay in the city. After that, you will be going on a walk to discover the Jamaa El Fnna Square and the souks where you will have dinner
Following a delightful breakfast our day is dedicated to exploring the captivating highlights of Marrakech, The tour allows you to visit many landmarks, such as Bahia Palace the historic royal necropolis Saadian Tombs dated to the time of the Saadian dynasty. Koutoubia is the largest mosque. Jamaa El Fna, the central and marketplace square After the guided tour, The day will End with a special dinner served at your place of stay.
In the morning we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains that is known by the highest top in Morocco 4,167m named Toubkal go Through the Tizi N’Tichka passage on the mountain and enjoy the various landscape views. We will have a break for a tea with mint or coffee at one of the Amazigh Hamlets.
Next break will be at Ait Ben Hadou village to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou; an old building that is for collective living, this Kasbah is nominated as a UNSCO heritage in 1987. This Kasbah and the region in general is very important for the industry of film making (famous movies like the man who would be king in 1975 and many others) it is also a fortress on the Salt Road where caravans from different regions came to buy slaves, gold, ivory and salt. Here we will enjoy the lunch time special food of the region.
After we will continue the path towards the Dades Valley, through the Kalaat Magouna; a town known by it’s thousands hectares of roses you can admire on May, Skoura Amazigh villages surrounding the valley of Dades
After the breakfast, We will continue the road through the valley admiring the amazing rock formation ( the monkey toes) and the integration of the of Kasbahs within the beautiful nature to name but a few the amazing Kasbah of AitYul from the 19 century. Entering Tinrghir region and the Todra Valley and it’s panoramic landscape view and surrounding Amazigh villages. In the Todra valley we will have a walk through the river with it’s amazing 300m high red cliff which a favorite destination for many rock-limbers to practice this sport. Lunch time will be served either in Rissani or Erfoud; two town oasis in the sahara, before leaving to merzouga the village of the golden sand where you will be welcomed with a tea with mint then checking in a Hotel
You will have breakfast after experiencing this magical moment after taking some time to relax and unwind before embarking on a thrilling 4WD off-road tour Our journey commences in Merzouga with a visit to the fossils and discover an ancient eyeliner mine as we pay a visit to the nomads in their traditional handwoven tents, where you can learn about their way of life and savor a cup of refreshing Berber tea.
Our next stop is the enchanting Khamlia village, renowned for its vibrant Gnaoua music and captivating dance performances. The inhabitants of this village trace their origins to sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Enjoy some free time for lunch at a local restaurant.Your journey continues to the oasis of Merzouga, where you can explore the community gardens and visit the nomadic depository. We drive to the Riad for the overnight stay.
Ensuring you don’t miss the mesmerizing spectacle of the desert sunrise our attentive staff will wake you up at dawn , A few minutes later you will ride back to the auberge at the village to take a fresh shower and a tasty breakfast. Then you will take the route towards Oaurzazate to overnight and visit this wonderful cinematographic place called Hollywood of Morocco, taking pictures in its monuments used for filming. Passing through many different landscapes and villages Errissani where the Mausoleum of the first sultan of the current Dynasty of Morocco the grandfather of Mohammed the 6th Moulay Ali Cherif. You may stop for lunch when it is time at one of those villages.
After having the breakfast, we will start the trip for this day From Ouarzazate, meeting the valley of roses which is cultivated with hectares of roses; their beauty and smell could be seen in May. The drive will take us to the Ighram “the fortified village” of Ait ben Haddou; where we will have lunch, whose name is taken from the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1987, where famous films were shot to name but a few as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy.
Tizi Ntichka, is the next stop, a mountain wind road which we will climb to the top and take pictures of the amazing view. At the end of the road, Marrakech was known in Tamazight as Amour N Akouch or the land of GOD. Arriving in the evening our driver will pick you up at your last destination, At the end of the road you will meet Marrakech again where you will spend the last nigh.
The last day of you journey will start from the hotel. As you will finish your breakfast the tour driver will take you to the airport of Marrakech Menara.
